Semi Final Match between Thewall vs Sdrawde
Map Traisle(blue is OB vincent who is broadcasting the game)
Red:Sdrawde current score(2440)
Green: Thewall current score(2678?
Sdrawded defeated Kuanren (2700 up) and whisper(2600up) up before semi final and become a black horse in the tourney.
Thewall defeated KKeeize(2300up) nad Elroyomj(2600 up) to reach the semi,he was the current favor in the tourney.
both players have no idea about this map because its a 3 player map. it will be interesting after we added some rules:



Additional rule to make the game balanced.
1. Green player can choose to ban Red player to use one particular race. Thewall banned Khra, so Sdrawde(we call him ED) will need to choose Sap/Titan
2. No player is allowed to cap the blue base until round 10.

My comment:
both red/green starts with 800 credits. they did heavy units as expected.
a common attacking tactic from red will be two tanks push and an engineer at the back.there are 2 paths.
Tile A is a strategy place to position battery and Tile B is a a place for maruda which can be a threat to Green walker.
lets wait and see both players moves.

Ed built a battery.his credit 800-400+200-550=50 left.next round will be 250
if red wants to attack from the straight road,his tank should position to north to gain and control the tiles.
it looks like he aims for blue base more.
we will see thewall's response.

My comments:
Blue marks tiles are the good tiles for red tank,red star is better than yellow star for battery because if battery positions on yellow makred tile,it will be under attack from green.

red area is the place under battery's fire.as you can see it can control and restrick green's movement.

but we never know those players have much smarter plans and response, lets wait and see their action in Round 3.

No, he won't be able to see. But it's not important because the game will end soon if blue is captured by anyone.

John, i tested myself, i can still view the game even i surrended.so do not worry. but as you said,the game will be over very soon if i lost it.

Ed has maded the move but i decided to delay my post a little bit for later days.

I told them both not to look at the post.but they can't resist. what i would do is that i will comment the previous moves rather than anticipating their future moves.

Round3 Ed's Turn

Ed made a marine, 50 credit BF,now +200 and -100,150 Carry fwd.350 next round.




My Comment:
what happen if green attack?(maybe some new players will choose,but let me show u)
Speeder attacks Marine and stay in tile B with 7hp. Left Marine 4hp(well maybe luck factor invovle,hp maybe vary).Green P Tank moves to tile A and create another speeder.
in this case,red tank can kill it with gang up help from 4hp marine, the marine needs to be in front of his own base to block green tank.in this case.this attack won't work.
There is a possibility the first speeder attack and stay in the southeast of tile A.its out of the range of tank and battery.wow it will be interesting.

I think if i was ed, i would leave my tank in tile B.as you see,battery in current position,it can hit any tile i marked with purple star.it would be better.
Please note,mountain tile will be a strategic tile for a marine, it won't be hit by green unit apart from walker/eclip.so in the future,marine can move to B,C,and jump to D.
well,lets see what happen from our great player........................ ..........The Wall.....................

Round 3 Thewall moved




Wall attacked marine with speeder and withdraw his tank. as I mentioned previously,his speeder moved to the"interesting tile", that is why i said, the red tank should have moved to tile B. Maybe thewall read my comment and decided to listen to my advice?
In this case, i should comment the game after player moves rather than giving them my suggestion.

anyway, thewall built another mecha and his got 450 BF,+200-100,550 carry fwd.well,one more round to see his first walker.

For Sap, 3hp marine can move from A-B-C-D,or A-C-D.(stay in C or D to recover to 7-8hp) in 10 round our rule allows him to attemp the blue base.
next 2 round is important,red circle area is a place for green to hold before walker come out. we may see a maruda soon.

How to counter green walker?I personally will choose 2 battery+1 tank tactic,this tactic requires 2 battery in blue circe and tank in blue star tile.now red tank is too far away. maybe maruda or heli is the priority choice?

(thanks again vincent and tourney contenders, fun to watch!)

seems like red could be threatening to keep moving forward and establish artillery range with the walker on the left side, in which case the blue base is safely behind him, but right side is dangerously exposed. definitely a game of which-way-do-the-tanks-go here. if red builds a marauder and green rushes plasma red seems to need the tank back there because he will have too few credits to defend otherwise. Or let plasma come, build marine, build 2nd tank, doesn't feel acceptable - tank needs to defend on plains with option to build engineer behind it - but red could be pressing the attack on the left side and just has to survive 6 rounds.

Red has 350 this turn and green will have 750 on the next? Seems like green is +200 on same round instead of the usual +100, which hurts here.

Round 4 Ed moved, he built a maruda and moved all units to west side.
His credit is 350-250=100,carry fwd and will be 300 next round.





It is so obivous that red is going for the third base.For reader who doesn't know our specific rule. neither player is allowed to cap until round 10 in this game.

looks like ed is going to set up a defensive line to cap the base in Round 10.
6 rounds to go,6x20=1200 1200 means green can have 1 more walker and some light units.also for red it means 1 battery+1 tank.

lets see how red will fight vs walker.
I can smell the blood in the air. i can't wait for the next 2 rounds.
