Dear all:
Our 2nd Semi final game will begin soon, please follow this post see the latest action

2 players information
Johnalei, his latest score is 2823, just beat me to reach No.13 in the ladder last night.
he defeated rainbow very narrowly in 1st round and defeated blight111 in qtr final.

For underdog aegis,his score is 2451, he defeated Earth in first round and Shprot in qtr to reach the last 4.

Rule in this map
1. no one is allowed to cap blue base until the 13th round(extended from 10 to 13)
Additional Rule applied:
If we have the following match up Red sap vs Green sap, Red sap vs Green Khra. Sap players(both red and green) are only allowed to build 1 helicopter in the first 2 rounds.(it means u will have 1000 in round 2, u can't do 2 heli in rd1,and rd2,)

This additional rule will applied to the 3rd game between ed vs thewall.(If there is the 3rd game), the 2nd game will still use the old rule

In game 1,John plays Titan in green posistion, he banned Khra. therefore, Aegis will choose Sap or Titan.
Aegis decided to use sap.
please all note, the no cap rule extended to 13 rounds.(players are only allowed to cap the blue base in 13th Rd.

Round 1
Aegis starts with 800 and he built a tank,400 left and 600 next round.standard opening

Round1 John moved,he also started with 800,he built a speeder, 550 left and 750 next round.


My comment:
John must study ed vs thewall very well,the no cap rule now allows him to have more time to prepare the pressure from West frontline. the speeder can move to blue base to threat battery(if red built one) it really depends on red tank's movement.
if red decide to do battery,his tank must go to green zone as deep as possible because green can do a walker next round. if red decide to do maruda,it will be interesting development.I like to see the different strategy those masters use.

Round2 Aegis moved,built a battery,moved tank fwd.
50 left and 250 next round.



as I mentioned before,where red tank goes will be crucial. aegis didn't make mistake and he decided to threathen green directly.

Green will surely threathen the battery from west frontline. and now green has no space to do walker,if he goes for tank, then he may not have much strenght to counter artillery. he needs at least 2 healthy speeders to make a efficient threat.now, it doesn't look possible.

if red moves the battery to reach green base, i don't know what unit green can build.

Round3 Aegis moved,he moves up 2 units fwd up in east frontline and built a maruda.no credit left,200 next round.



My comment:
Aegis did what we would do,and I think john will port his mecha in between red tank and battery,his speeder may attack the maruda and move next to battery.
I think he can do a P tank as well.

John did the what i expected apart from the building unit.
looks like he is really confident with his defence.red tank next to his base is a trouble,not sure why he didn't do a P tank?as long as Aegis doesn't move the tank wrongly.he should be able to kill the speeder in 2-3 rounds

BTW,these two players moves too fast and due to the time different issues,they move while i m in bed.therefore i need to build a underling and bury.i won't be defeated in this case and i can always take my turn. i can replay their moves and take the screenshot to broadcast.

Round4,Aegis moved,he built a engineer,killed 4hp green mecha with the red tank.maruda damaged speeder.
no credit left and will be 200 again next round.

Round4 Johnalei moved:he built a P Tank finally and hit battery with speeder,port the 3hp mecha.450 left and 650 next round.



What Aegis can do?I will leave 3hp mecha,kill speeder with Red tank+maruda.,hit the green tank with battery.
next round I can reprogramme the mecha and moved the battery to desert tile.
John waisted 450 in this risky strategy.now i feel that its so important to do a P tank in round or 2.if the we get rid of the desert tile to normal ground in HD version.It will be better for green titan because P Tank can have better mobility.

This game should end within 5 rounds.so can John defeated his opponent within 13 rounds to gain some advantage in last game?or a sweep from Black horse Aegis?
