Subject: TP Semi Final Match2Game 2 Johnalei vs Aegis (Finished)

In the first game, Johnalei used a very risky strategy and built up his heavy tank really late,he lost the game really quickly within 10 rounds.
Now 2nd game Aegis chose a mirror match.
Johnalei played Red Sap and Aegis Green titan
Rule, no one cap the blue base until Round 13.

Round 1
John open with 800,did a tank,400 b/f,600 next round.



Aegis open with 800, did a p tank, 300 b/f,500 next round.


Looks like Aegis realise the importance of taking more space in the narrow east frontline,he will need the tank to block red's advance

John open with 600,he built an engineer,400 b/f and 600 next round


Aegis open with 500,he built a speeder,250 b/f,450 next round


John chose engineer rather than battery.he may do battery in R3,move away in R4,working from R5.
If he did a battery this round,he can move away in Round3,start attacking from R4,I think earlier battery is efficient than engineer,however his engineer can move fwd early and cool down the P tank.

Round3 Aegis built a mecha 350b/f,and 550 next round

Round4 John built a battery and use maruda to block speeder in westline. 0 credit and 200 next round.


Round4 Aegis didn't buil anything,he withdrew the tank 1 tile back.750 next round

his battery and red tank damaged green P Tank to 3hp.
Maruda hit green speeder to 8hp,his down to 7hp but recover in 2nd move.

he has given up the narrow tile where can block red.
what he needs to do is to hold on 4 more rounds,or 5

He moved the battery fwd,now he has covered all the space around green,anything built from green base will have to have a shower.



Next round john will do another battery,right?

his tank decided to hit red tank,well,its too close so battery can't hit him anyway.

Johnalei is on holiday so the game is paused for a few days,

An easy come back, but 1 round shorter than Aegis,so Aegis will have advantage in 3rd game.
