Subject: Start Random Game -> Error connecting to the server

For the last few days, whenever I attempt to start a new random game I get a pop-up with the message "Error connecting to the server" almost immediately. A friend of mine has no such issue, even if we are on the same network. This problem occurs for me, in fact, no matter what network I am on.

I have no problem playing my already active games. I've been keeping "available to random games" off to avoid too much spam (I like to keep down to less than a page of matches), but the error persists even if I turn this setting back on temporarily. I have no idea if I'd be receiving new games if I left it on.

This problem is still occurring. I tried removing my game and then re-downloading it to clear out any possible bad settings, but nothing has changed--I am still unable to start a new random game.

Update: Okay, after it said that once, now it's giving "Player is invalid" when I try. I'll search more. *sigh* Edit: Ahh, I had to log in again to get that. Now it's back to the error connecting to the server.

We looked into it and it should be fixed in an upcoming server update. The update could happen as soon as tomorrow once we confirm it is ready. We'll keep you posted.

I've had this problem for the last four or five days - _every_ time I ask for a random game. I am not sure the server change fixed it.

I had this problem before, a few weeks back. Someone on the CHAT suggested I log out and back in - this solved it. But it has not fixed it this time. Please help!

I too am having this problem now. Logging out and logging back in does not seem to help. And, obviously, this is post server update. Suggestions?
