Well, the moment we have all been waiting for has arrived! The devs have finally completed most of the units for the new race in Uniwar to be released just one month from now, the Zoids.
The Zoid race is a 1/3 titan, 1/3 sapien, and 1/3 khralean sub-species formed from the assimilation and merging of all three by the Zoid Overmind . With aerial units, strong defensible units, as well as buriable units, the Zoids will have many of the best attributes from all 3 standard races as well as INVISIBLE UNITS! To counter this, each of the 4 races will now have detection units added to their standard lineup. As well, the Zoids have an Overmind unit that costs 1000 credits that can "read the mind" of its opponents, and can effectively undo the moves of opponents!!!
The Zoids also have 3 boat units, one of which can transform into an aerial unit or back in 1 turn.
NEW UNITS to look forward to!!!:
NEW Titan unit: MEGA WALKER - a larger, but slower walker with 6 range (775 credits)
NEW Sapien unit: MERCENARIES - these marines only cost 50 credits and can be massed heavily, but are only half as strong as normal marines, move half as fast, and capture bases in 2 turns instead of 1. (10% chance of going A-wall each turn and disappearing from the map).
NEW Khralean unit: SLUG BEAST - this monstrosity only has a movement of 6, but leaves a slime trail on every tile it passes allowing all other khralean units to move faster over it, INCLUDING AIR UNITS!!!! TALK ABOUT A KHRALEAN RUSH!!!! In addition, the slug beast can use its special ability "digest," where it stays solitary for a turn while it "digests," and then must lose its next turn. The ability is meant to be a taunt to opponents, because "digest" doesn't actually do anything other than lose a turn.
BALANCE CHANGES:
-Plasma Tank defense increased to 16, but movement decreased to 3 (plasma tank rushing was becoming far too strong) Now if a plasma tank leaves a base, it cannot move back onto it. Nor can it now move into a forest, desert, or swamp tile. A plasma tank that is built on a base surrounded completely by forests or deserts will now be stuck.
-Helicopter defense increased to 11 and aerial attack increased to 11, as well as healing to return to 2. (this is to help helis do a little better against khraleans)
-Swarmer ground heavy attack increased to 7 as well as aerial attack increased to 7. Hopefully these will be used more in K vs. K matchups now.

OTHER INTERFACE CHANGES:
-New "skip" function: Now, when a player's turn time has expired, the player's personal email address will be displayed. Perhaps now he/she will think twice about being late for their turn, because you can now contact them directly.
-Add/delete and even permanently block friends with one simple button. Also rate friends on a 1-10 scale based on how well you like them. NEW LADDER FOR FRIEND RANKINGS
-New option as an alternative for "surrender" called "desert". This essentially is the same as surrendering, but doesn't actually have the negative implication that you are "surrendering" for real, only that you simply won't play the match any further.
-New Random Games Function: Now, adding random games adds a random number of games as well, from between 1-12 games depending on the roll.
-New simplified games list menu for easier use, now sorts automatically by (time last played, time game started, number of players, team games, single player games, number of titans, number of players on your team from the same country, who's online now, tile-set type, games with developers playing in them with you, games with 2000+ ranked players playing with you, games with no less than 9.5 hrs left before your turn, games that it is your turn)
-New 5-thumbs down vote: now you can "thumbs up", "thumbs down", or "5-thumbs down" vote on a map after you have played a new custom map. This is typically to allow you to cast more thumbs down votes after you have been beaten by a better player on a custom map.
MAP EDITOR UPDATES:
-iPhone map editor to be compatible with iTunes for custom map songs
-New tile type: vortex: this tile cannot be entered by ground heavy, light, or water units. Aerial units as well cannot enter this tile, nor can it be seen even if it is in the field of vision of nearby units. Imagine the new strategies to be used with this tile!
-Defense mode: now you can publish maps that only allow players of a certain rank or higher to play your map, so as to avoid poor players who will now use 5-thumbs down voting on you when you beat them.
