On a more serious note, "Artificial Intelligence" (or AI) means that it is not a real player, it is a computer player. Any intelligence they seem to posses is only the result of the developers' brilliant programming and is therefore artificial.

Yes, if you've seen the option to add a 'bot' player in setup, that's these gals.
I remember the first time I had one as a teammate and got increasingly frustrated with their unwillingness to respond to chats, until another teammate explained the futility.
