Do players all start with the same amount of cash, or do you get more cash if you are last to play?
How exactly does this work?
It seems to me that being first gives you a big advantage, so players that are not first should be compensated with more starting cash.

You get a certain amount per round, including the round the enemy plays, so the person who goes next starts with more money. This is a big advantage on some maps where buying a better unit to start with matters and not too important on maps where you slowly build an army.

Can you please be more specific. How much money do you get each round? What is the calculation?

It's different with every map. It says what you get at the bottom of the screen in the map details when you select it.

Like Dead Monk is
Initial Credits 300
Credits/Base 100 (so 100x how many bases you have/round)

And different maps give different amounts as part of the strategy/balancing. Can't be more specific than that.

Just to be clear, if we have a 2 player game in Dead Monk then player #1 will start with 300 credits and player #2 will start with 400 credits? Is this correct?

What about games with more than 2 players? For example, Full-Planet allows 8 players, starts with 250 credits and pays 150/base. So with how many credits would player #6 start the game? How about player #7?

Player 1 gets the initial start credit in Round 1. All other players get the initial start credit plus the credit/base. So Players 2-8 will start their first turn with the same credit, but it will be more than what Player 1 started with, since Player 1 has first mover advantage.

Thanks Rolando.

I think that the amount of extra credit given to players 2-8 should be linearly increasing. So player #2 gets a little more, player #3 gets a little more than player #2, etc.

Clearly moving first is a big advantage, but I also think that being #2 is much better than being #8 for almost any map.

... Yeah, that's how it works, so what are you asking for to be different? Person #8 will start with a lot more than #1.

Yes, but I am asking for player #2 to start with more than player #1 and for player #3 to start with more than player #2, etc.

Okay. That's how it works now. So... What's the problem?

Anonymous - Based on rolando's reply, thats not how it works now.
rolando says that player #2, player #3, player #4, etc will all start with the same number of credits.

Anon is rolando, he has logging in issues.

I don't think the increasing idea is that great, but maybe the final four to go (in 8 layer games) get more. This is one of the biggest balancing issues with turn based strat games, the first turn balancing.

Fullplanet does need some looking at to balance it for the final four to start though.
