Fobos
The people of Fobos fled following the decimation of their planet by the The Alone and his army. The interstellar corvette "Divinity" escaped the atmosphere of Fobos as the cities below burned with a dark energy.
Millions of Foboians had escaped with their lives, billions of their kin had perished.
On board they had taken weapons enough to arm a small military. In preparing for war, they had designed weapons to be used at range, as the Foboians are frail creatures. These weapons, they hoped, would not be necessary in their new world. But after the dark times they had just faced, they felt they must be prepared.
Divinity contained massive factories, where the scientists of Fobos collaborated to build new instruments of war. Mysteriously designed machines, it would become clear that the scientists who designed them were intensely brilliant, but also had no idea what war was.
Divinity housed large stores of food, enough for a lengthy journey. The greenhouse and water purification system made certain that the people would arrive on their new world well nourished.
And so, Divinity flew through the night sky, towards a home, and a destiny.... The Foboian refugees would one day become the people of earth.
On this day however, they landed on a hostile world at war. And behind them, Darkness had followed. Their destiny was far from decided.....

Fobos Shock Trooper
The first troops to climb off of divinity, these range 1-2 infantry were armed with a long range laser rifle, keen sight, and a powered exo suit. Tasked with exploring the new world and setting up Foboian outposts, these troopers were the hope of all of the people of Fobos.

The amplifier power cell is rewired by the expert scientists. The amplifier gains the ability to focus a fierce blast at a nearby enemy, or create a devastating blast of energy which saps nearby enemies of their will to move. (Reduction in mobility and -1 to attack for all enemies within 3 hexes. )

Saucer
One thing the scientists got right. This machine is fast, and it's simple crude design has proven far deadlier than any of the Foboians expected. Simply, this machine slices directly into its prey at exceptionally high velocities. As you can imagine, this causes the saucer to take additional damage when attacking. When being attacked, the saucers excellent agility coupled with its sharply curved metal facade provides excellent defense.

When the saucer attacks, after damage is dealt by the attacker and defending unit, the saucer loses 1 health.
Saucer Upgrade: laser battery
The original saucer design was effective, and remains the baseline model for deployment. However, Fobos soon realized they would be losing many of these war machines quickly, and tasked their scientists with developing a more survivable model. A laser battery retrofitted to the dorsal aspect of the saucer proved effective at engaging targets at range, providing additional fire support, durability and flexibility for the Fobos army.

Brilliant idea, so currently, we have a Powerhouse race (Titan), a Balanced race (Sapiens), a Subversive race (Khraleans), a Cannon race (Pyreans), a Life race (Convergence), a Mega race (Phasers/Enyalios), and now a Sniper race (Fobos).

Hey I'm planning on making a scrap yard for the units I can't use. If you want to take any of them. Go ahead. Here's what I got so far
Prime; super ultra infantry. Has the best stats in game.
Bomber; as explained before
Sea-ship
It's a dragon type of unit, an aerial, with tank stats. You can build them at ports. Very good versus aquatic

OHHHHH I see it now. Hahah. Let me fix that
I edited it away, but the opening statement had read "after their world was destroyed by the Tyrant Alone." Which was of course interpreted as a tyrant destroying it by himself instead of the character Alone. So I fixed the wording to be easier to understand / better hopefully

And just added Protoman. God i am psyched to put stats to that idea.
Thinking:
1-2 or 1-3 range.
On medic tile: "attacks" heal target for 2-3. Can of course be used on friendly troops.
On swamp tile: attacks reduce mobility of affected troop, or maybe cause it to not be able to move at all next turn (great counter against phasers)
On forest tile: all of the vegetation of the forest provides extra energy to the gun, increasing damage dealt.
On plains tile: basic damage, no extra effect
On mountain tile: ???
On bases: ???
On naval base: ???
Gotta think about those things.. I'm leaning range 1-3, and this being a high cost unit.
