Was thinking this would be a fun alternative game mode, much more arcade-like

General:
- all vision scores, unless otherwise noted, are 2.
- swamp tiles deal 1 damage to any non-aerial unit when they enter it.
- medic tiles heal 2 health to any unit as they enter it.
- units gain veteran status 50% faster. When a unit gains first veteran status, it's defense is increased by 2.
- when a unit gains second veteran status, it gains ALL race engineer abilities. (Khral plague, saps EMP, Titans UV)
- when a unit gains third veteran status, it heals fully, and it gains Teleport, Bury, and a move after attack of 9.


Titans:
- Teleport does not cause the unit to enter Cooldown, and after teleporting a unit can immediately attack.
- . cooldown for UV is reduced to 4 turns.
- eclipse range becomes 1-3.
- speeder move after attack becomes 9
- plasma gains 1 mobility. Plasma cost reduced to 450.

Khral:
- buried units can NOT be detected
- plague deals 2 damage per turn instead of 1
- infectors gain the bury ability.
- Pinzers gain "Leap", allowing them to teleport without Cooldown within 3 hexes.

Saps:
- Batteries gain a second action. Battery cost increases to 750.
- helicopter move after attack increased to 9 mobility.
- EMP Cooldown 5 turns. Engineers can move and EMP in the same turn.
- Marines mobility increased to 12. Marines defense increased by 2.
- marauder vision is 4


Of course this is open to more ideas. But really just feel like this sorta quirky fast paced thing would be interesting

I think it would be very confusing to go back and forth between the different game modes so ... my vote is a 'no'. Sorry!

I mean, it could be fun, but getting the rules of normal Uniwar memorized is a pretty big task in and of itself.

It's a huge amount of work for the devs, then there's balancing and testing. Though it sounds interesting and I think many of these ideas could be incorporated into the current game I'd rather the primary game was worked on than any spin off game modes.

Incidentally I'd rather a fast paced game mode worked more like History Line (c64 game, which is showing my age! ). That was while I'm attacking you're moving and visa versa. Sometimes the units that you moved never made it.

Maybe later, but there are lots of other ideas for the dev to work on that would be better additions to the game

Since when did we have Racecars with machine guns?
