Idea is to allow people to start random games with 10m time limit
To not to scare out people who prefer 24h games this quick games should match only with those who will agree on this quick game. So that when person is waiting for 24h game he will not be matched with 10m game.
As an option - to allow make custom rated games with 10m time limit.

Some people especially novices dont have enough time to wait for a monthly game with 24h turns

I thought about this too.
As a variant, time could depend on units and credits count. Probably except the first move; especially if there will be random options (e.g. map or race).

Try communicating with your opponant. Quite often you can find a common time/timezone range to do rapid turns. Other times you 'free time' just isn't compatible.

...The game of life is too short to be taken seriously...
