Ok, I have proposals regarding to the Marine's lack of ability. I got ideas:
Stimpack: Basically OGkush's post
Bazooka: Allows marines to gain +2 Atk, good for one use before cooldown
Medkit: Gives marines a free +2 Hp repair and a cure from plague in any order, whenever it attack 1st or not, good for one use before cooldown
Grenade: Gives marine ability to deal 1 free damage in any order (same as medkit) against non-aerial units, good for one use before cooldown
Sniper Rifle: Allows marines to shoot for up to 1-2 tiles, good for one use before cooldown.
Flashbang: Allows marines to immobilize a unit, good for one use before cooldown
there can have more an you can join in

I like the idea of more abilities in the game. But marines are already the best unit in the game :p

I thought of another one. This one doesn't make it overpowered, but it can be useful at right times. The ability is called "Entrench". What it does is it gives the marine an extra attack range (and maybe +1,+1 terrain bonus too), but it cannot move while entrenched. It being able to entrench after move depends on you guys. Not too big, but a good idea of mine
