We plan to have regular and mostly incremental balance changes.

Uniwar balance is decided by a group of select top players, consulting Spookyhouse as needed on bigger changes.
Current members: Vogon Jeltz, Impaler, Porphyr, Michaelrl and myself.

Balance changes effective from 24/2-2017:
- fuze move reduce from 11 to 9 (prevent cap with fuze from 3 hex distance & level the playing field vs salamander a little)
- salamander defense from 6 to 8 (improve salamander usability)
- salamander air attack from 2 to 3 (improve salamander usability, especially in the K vs S matchup)
- guardian GH attack reduce from 7 to 5 (make it less overpowered vs GH)
- guardian aqaatic attack reduce from 7 to 5 (make it less overpowered vs aquatic)
- guardian air attack reduce from 8 to 7 (make it less overpowered vs air)
- borfly get 6 move after attack (improve borfly usability)
- bopper air attck reduce from 2 to 1 (reduce the attack vs swarmers/garuda)

Swarmer gets increase ground light from 7 to 8 to better balance khraleans vs the other races

Balance changes effective 7/4-2017 22:00 CET:

Speeder will reduce amphibious attack from 10 to 8. This will better balance the khral vs titan matchup and will make the khral salamander relatively stronger in that matchup.

Balance-changes effective from 31/10-2017 00:00 CET
- Borfly reduce AP GH from 50 tp 35 %. (it was to high dammage vs the tanks previously for a 200 cost unit)
- Eclipse increase heal from 1 to 2 (to increase usability and survivability of the eclipse)
- Eclipe increase attack vs amphibians from 10 to 11 (to make eclipse more usable vs amphibians)

Balance changes effective from 8/11-2017 22:00 CET
- Salamander reduce aquatic attack from 6 to 5
- Salamander reduce armourpiercing vs aquatic from 40 to 30%

Changes are made to better balance seabattles related to the imminent release of the new subs. Khral will get another strong unit vs aquatic when we "release the Kraken!"

Balance changes effective from 17/01-2018 11:00 CET
- Walker cost reduced from 750 to 700
- Battery cost reduced from 650 to 600
- Wyrm get move after attack 5

With the introduction of new units like amphibians and tankbusters - artilleryunits have been buildt much less.
Changes are done to make the artillery units more usable and more frequently buildt in games.

Balance changes effective from 23/5 23:00 CET:
- Plasmatank get +1 movement from 6 to 7
- Plasmatank get +1 attack vs ground heavy from 11 to 12
- Mantisse get +1 attack vs amphibians from 6 to 7

The plasmatank have been underused lately with the introduction of the tankbusterunits. Giving it a little speed and GH will make it more usable while still beeing the slowest tank.
Mantisse loose a fight vs the cheaper fuze. Giving mantisse more attack vs amphibian better reflect that it is more expensive.

Balance changes effective from 27/6 10:00 CEST:
- Borfly will get a reduction in AP Air from 50% to 30%
- Amphibians will get a -1 penalty vs submerged subs

The reduction in AP Air for the Borfly is mainly to prevent the borfly vs borfly massive buildups in Khral vs Khral.
The reduction in dammage amphibians will do to submerged units is to increase survivability for the subs.

Balance change effective from 23/8 10:00 CEST:
- Kraken will get an increase in surface attack-range from 0-1 to 0-2

This will not affect underwater battle, but will make the Kraken more uasable in other situations.

Balance changes effective from 27/1-2019 15:00 CET:
- Infector price reduced from 300 to 250 (Infector is a bit underused)
- Mecka II air increased from 3 to 4 (Mekca II air should at least be the same as orginal Mecka)
- Wyrm MAA reduced from 5 to 4 (Wyrm MAA 4 will prevent it from moving back onto a city after a move.)

Balance change - effective from 20/3-2019:
Kraken gets increase in move and move underwater from 9 tp 10.
This will give Kraken 3 hex move also when one tile is bridge.

Balance changes effective from 29/8-2019 15:00 CET
The battery have been underused for a long time, and even more after the introduction of the "tankbuster-units"... (the Bopper being a better and cheaper tank-buster than the battery)
The changes to the battery will make it more flexible with 2 actions, but will get reductions in attack-strength.
- 2 actions
- remove MAA
- movement reduced from 7 to 5
- ground light attack reduced from 12 to 10
- air attack reduced from 12 to 5
- ground heavy attack reduced from 10 to 6
- amphibian attack reduced from 12 to 10

Balance changes effective from 16/2-2020 22:00 CET
The eclipse have been underused a long time compared to units like the sapien helicopter and khral garuda.
The changes to the eclipse will make it fight better vs the medium units like swarmer, speeder and marauder while making it less effective vs infantry to balance it out and retain the 400 cost.

- increase defence from 9 to 11
- increase ground heavy attack from 4 to 5
- decrease ground light attack from 10 to 8

Balance changes effective from 22/10-2020 07:00 UTC

- Eclipse's defence will be reduced from 11 to 10 and ground light attack will be increased from 8 to 10 - to roll back a bit the last defence buff making it to "tanky" (+2 defence)
- Mecka movement increased from 7 to 8 - to give titan a better fighting chance on maps with much forest and also make it easier (more fair) for titan in getting faster on cities.
- Garuda defence will be increased from 8 to 9 - to improve khral vs other races
- Helicopter will get an increased air attack from 9 to 10 - to balance Garuda buff a bit
- Submarine will get increased underwater mobility from 7 to 9 - to give the submarine better playability/survivability.
