My games with deca79 in group E are done, I won as sap in 11 rounds and as titan in 14 (S11R, T14R). If someone can note on the runiwar page that would be great.

Hey everyone, I just need a rule clarification. The way I understand is you win a game is if you have more bases than your oponnent for 5 rounds then that is declared a win. In one of my current games my opponent says I have to caPture all of his bases for victory. Who is correct?

Hello all.
To kolemanx:
The rules are:
2. Rules of winner determining and scoring
Criterion to win the match: capture and hold for 5 rounds more land bases than the opponent.
So, you are right. Who is this player?
To unikz
We are discussing now this opportunity to have 2 players from each group for final game.
If we follow the current rules for final part, we will have 10 players and 18 games for each of them.
Not every player can play this number fast enough.
So, we need other rules for final game.
Have you any suggestions for that?
I have, for example, an idea that all 2nd players will play each other and the best of them will go to final
with 1st palyers.

I think that what unikz suggests is to introduce a grid stage, after the group stage where the players play in groups. In the grid stage, each player plays vs. one opponent at time, and who wins advances to next phase in the grid. As example, you may know "Football Champions League", where there is a round-robin group stage (teams play as home-visitors with all the participants of their group); after that, a grid of two-legged games. Please, take time to see the "Example" in this wiki page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Single-elimination_tournament It shows a grid, an image can work better than a thousands words A brief update with my games: i will invite unikz today, i'm playing both games vs. defKiller and Lion and am playing the first game vs. KotDaVinchi (waiting for his invite). I must let you notice that i'm ashamed for what's going on with lion, i lost and theres no need of screenshots to prove it. He wrecked me too easily, i'm ashamed... I was surprised by his early attack and couldn't counter well. Well played lion, i repeat i'm ashamed i lost so easily. University took me away those days

how did i miss this rule. this is very important. i nearly let a base go last turn to hold my credits for a better defines. so 5 rounds after you cap an enemy base you win?

Dan1,yes, that's true. If he wouldn't able to recap it or cap yours during those 5 rounds.
In other words, 5 rounds of land bases domination. ))

The 5 round rule wasn't in the original post and I don't speak Russian. I'm glad we at least know about it now. I think a couple of my wins would've been quicker with this rule, oh well.
I like the idea of 2 people from each group advancing, but that is partially because I have Waxoid in my group lol.

i posted here link to the rules of the group part, in russian and english.

To be honest, deliann, when i checked the rule page i didn't see the bases rule as well. Automatic translation made it difficult to see now i checked the original page and i spotted them easily. I asked some to join the tournament, but i'm still waiting for the answer. UPDATE: The player i asked, said he is glad to join the tournament. He is Johnalei, i tell him to post here. Can you please update the sheet so that he understands who to invite? Thank you UPDATE: My games vs. Lion1024 are finished. We are still playing one for fun, but he won.

This rule appeared near the beginning of the tournament, and then I translated it into English and posted the rules in both languages.
However, for future tournaments, I will post complete redaction of rules here.
I posted about Johnalei, asked to invite him and changed the group B table. Thank you.
Johnalei, glad to see you and good luck.
