For all you Uniwar trivia buffs out there:

Is there any way to kill a fully healthy buried underling while it remains buried (never resurfaces) and does not move? If you think yes then how? If you think not, then why not?

Answer to be provided in a few days.

Yes, just use the UV feature of the Assimilator.
Or does it not affect buried underlings?
Or, you could use marauders to move on top of it, move off, then repeat with another or more in the same turn.
Unless it's surrounded by pinzers or something XD

But yeah, it's possible.

Ok, hold on, if there's a buried underling that's under any terrain other than mountains and not surrounded by other units, then the marauder feature will work. If it's under a mountain, it won't.
The UV thing would work regardless as long as it DOES affect buried underlings.
Unfortunately, I can't check, because my iPod broke.
Mleh.

You guys are correct.

UV will not work.

The Marauder is the only unit in the game that can kill a buried underling by driving on and off of it multiple times.
If the underling is under a mountain then there is simply no way to kill it.

You can get his health go down to 1 if you place any heavy ground unit on top of an underling.
His health will go down by 1 each turn.

But if it doesn't move, it will also repair by 1 a turn, and never reduce in health overall. But with Marauders you can stand on him more than once a turn, eventually killing him.

You could do it with Speeders too, but there would have to be a unit to attack adjacent to the Underling...
