Today I was playing (and winning) a team game. Unfortunately my team mate dropped out in the middle of the game and I was overrun by the two enemies. Maybe there should be some way to avoid too much score penalty for the remaining player.

There were a few suggestions that I liked that could solve this.

1) let the AI play the turn after any time-out (at the appropriate level, which would probably mean the strongest available)
2) let the teammate that is up next play the turn (no problem with hidden units?).

1) would be my choice (if not too complicated to program), because 2) is a bit confusing, it could lead to an advantage to the partially absent team, and the teammate next up could also fail to play in time.

The currently chosen 'passive' solution does not help much.

I'm actually more in favor of Option (2), especially in 2v2 games. There would be no way to coordinate with the AI, especially with Team Chat coming online soon. Also, the AI is kinda dumb...
