Sorry for not posting this in the right forum, but it looks like the bug forum isn't accepting new posts?

Anyways, I'm playing on two maps right now where EMP seems to be busted. In the first map, I built an engineer and successfully used EMP to disable some titans (woot!). A couple turns later, I built a new engineer but the new engineer has not been able to use EMP -- I understand the first engineer needs to recharge but shouldn't the new engineer be good to go?

Simultaneously, on another map I've built an engineer who simply doesn't have the EMP option available. I've brought it right next to a titan unit without the EMP option appearing.

Anyone know what's going on here? Is EMP legitimately busted or am I just being a noob?

I think this is good news for us titan players. xD

But I really think there shouldn't be any problem...this game hasn't been updated in ages so new bugs shouldn't be arising...unless you're using an iphone4.

Well I don't know how often this is being encountered but it's definitely happening to me. Not being able to disable those titan units is pretty frustrating

I'm using iPhone 4
On map gold rush, against a com, I was free to use as many emps as I liked

I had this problem on hurtgen forest and got quite badly humiliated as my strategy was very engineer heavy xD.

I'm sure you're just not using EMP right.
For info, you can not MOVE and them EMP on one single turn, like plague for the infestor. In other words, your engineer must not have moved and availble (unused).
Secondly, EMP has a certain range. I believe it's 2 tiles, so further away you can't use EMP and the option won't even appear which is pretty normal.

So, in order to EMP, you need an engineer with a titan unit within 2 tiles, and the engineer must not move. Then the emp option will appear. If you can't see it means it's not available as in: out of range, recharging or have moved this turn

If you still can't, then it's a bug which is most likely not the case, I hope, EMP rocks

Lol, I'm hoping you don't assume after our games that I'm too noob to know how to use EMP properly :p. I did try your strategy though and it is a "skin of the teeth" strategy so I'm looking to develop a technique based on it xD.

The bug it 100% NOT people being unable to use EMP correctly though!

EDIT: At least, I'm hoping my memory serves me correctly although I did only play some of my very early games on that map xD.

Ja I'm sure you know how to, but I was talking to the OP since he was the one having problems

"skin of the teeth" strategy? I'm not sure what you mean by that, but it does takes some time to adjust to it and handle it correctly. It's also risky, if you lose an unused engi or that a battery take damage at a crucial time you'll have a very hard time recovering.
