Why do you have to skip players three times to clear them? The dropout rate is really high in this game and it kind of sucks to have 10 games out of 20 where the person obviously isn't coming back and you have to keep skipping them for the next three days. That, or just surrender, which I usually end up doing just to clear a slot, player rating be damned.

Additionally on 2 player games, missing a turn in many cases means you're going to lose anyway. On most maps all it takes is one screw-up. You're not even doing them much of a favor if you make an extra move and they are actually coming back, since the game is pretty much lost for them anyway.

Can't you just make it once, at least on 2 player games? If they miss a turn and you want to keep playing or think they'll come back you can just wait for them. If you're pretty sure they aren't coming back you can free the slot.

It just sucks that it's so much hassle for the person who's actually playing and contributing to this community to get rid of the people who just start games and drop out. Yeah it's not THAT much work for one game, but when you have 10 drop outs it really is a pain.

I believe skipping should be done automatically. You know the turn time limit when you join a game, so it's your own fault if you don't take your turn in time. If there is no penalty for not taking your turn within the time limit, then what's the point of the time limit?
