I never skip unless they skip, they are rude and take 24 hours more than their time, or they are neutral/say nothing and take more than 3 days to move. If someone is nice or asks politely to not be skipped, I wont skip them at all.

The big problem is team tournaments rarely end on time, so delays can influence who wins. in that case, if i were losing id give them about a day before skipping even if they were nice, because they can secure a win by stalling.


With regards to the "I skip unless they ask for time" mentality, I think that is pretty stupid. Literally everyone has some reason, and everyone thanks me for not skipping (with a few exceptions...) I think it goes without saying that people desire extra time, and if they can't sign in to play their turn, maybe they can't sign in to ask for time.

I have only heard from Ankor that NominaThor (i think, not 100% sure) skips quickly. other than him I don't know of any top players that skip. It is very friendly at the top.

At top levels sometimes one good roll can be game, because single units on certain terrain can be essential to victory. i lost a winning position to DiPersio because his marine vs my marine, both on trees did 6 damage and i did 3 back (he did the math, 3.5% chance). Sounds a little lame to whine about it but thats not why I am sharing.

I voted no, it would not be better, BUT I feel there is a very important fix that can happen: remove options below 5 or 10% chance. There would still be variation, but what everyone hates is getting f#$&ed by that 1-5% chance hit, because often THOSE are the only things people complain about. Its the only thing that ever really annoyed me.

As a side note, I dont think the rolls work exactly as people think. I had a game against Soli where i tried to do x damage against a marine with my swarmer, but attacking in 7 different orders (attacking with 0,1,2,3... units before the swarmer attacks) i still did not get x damage, even though there was a 28% chance. as far as i understand, that is a .013% chance, which I somehow doubt... I confirmed that it was a 28% chance with multiple people, but got vastly varied explainations as to how the rolls work to explain it.

my credentials is I have a top score of 2582, and on my alt account I made it to 2435 without losing a game, currently 103 wins, 0 losses on that.

I want in on this thing! Would lowering to 200UC be more enticing?

- Be in a match: hit the chat button a few miliseconds before hitting the hameburger/menu/three paralell lines running horizontally (bottom right). the screen will then be split into 6-10 copies of your screen. easily goes away by pressing the back button.

Not a bug. Any other app will behave the same on some Android versions (tap fast bottom left-right and you get it).


EDIT:

Second bug is that I can see throughh the ground and watch the buried underlings move and heal. It is actually a cool feature but the problem is I can see the ones in the replay that are nowhere near me, making the hidden/buried aspect moot. That can be a really big deal. i also know which is which and can see them heal.

Hi Andrei, I would also like to welcome you! I look forward to seeing what spookyhouse has to offer! I am excited that it seems updates will be recieved quicker than our past! I apologize for the lack of optimism from our community, but I am sure you understand the concerns, with the current state of mobile gaming in mind.

Without trying to sound too heavy handed, I would like to inform you that this community is NOT like much of the rest of the mobile market. The vast majority of the players here only play this game, and no other mobile games, due to the ever present skinner's box mentality, and similar "whale hunting" techniques.

The only reason I mention this, and the only reason my friend Duaneski mentioned your other games under the spookyhouse name, is that we firmly beleive that the marketing used in the current mobile market has the significant possibility of eliminating the already small playerbase of uniwar. Imposed restrictions like "energy" required to play games (only renewable though timers or payments) or constant reminders to share on social media would in no uncertain terms end the life of this game.

However, if you use your expertise, larger devlopment team, and larger monetary base to clean up existing bugs, expidite game feature requests, and grow the player base through effective external marketing, I can assure you this game can become exceedingly lucrative. We are a proud community, and we invest in quality, and with next to NO real competition in the app store or google play store for quality strategy war games, you have a monopoly in your hands.

I fear for the worst, and hope for the best. If you respect this community, we will reward you.

im not sure everyone would agree i am a top player, but i am certainly top 50 material, and i buy one tank against titan every time i play them, as a blocker for mechas, IF we get into a buildup situation (30% of the time). Maybe not super frequent, but it happens enough.

Simsverd, I know you said incrementally so I guess this next point is moot, but...: be careuful with too many changes too quick, nerfs/buffs to one unit can make other units you planned to balance, balance themselves out.

Glad to see you considering a marauder/speeder nerf. No one ever says they are OP and when I mention it no one responds... Then they all complain about other units that are much worse than marauder and speeder, the two best units in the game xD

im pretty sure all top players buy a guardian against tanks and pinzir... am i wrong about this? im like, 99% sure ive seen kikoho himself buy a guardian. anyway, i think its true that the ranged and tank units are not in the best place, and that perhaps titans are the worst race/most boring

Thats the idea. all units are supposed to be a cost-benefit trade-off. its the most powerful tank buster and also the most risky. it is still a very useful unit.

i beleive they are considering heal +2 for eclipse
