General Discussion » Units leveling up to 11/12 HP? » Go to message
Yes, health determines damage (via the damage formula) and how long your unit lasts. It doesn't determine defense, but it obviously increases the damage your unit can take before dying.
Bug Reports » Building a unit should not be undoable » Go to message
On a side note, I find it really annoying when I accidentally build the wrong unit and move the map before I realized my mistake. Could you guys change it so that moving the map doesn't get rid of the undo button? You could add a separate "confirm" button that people could use to give their newly built units vision and see the info screen button, but that people wouldn't have to use (they could just keep making other moves).

I don't think a confirmation would be very annoying, we'd just get used to it like we're all used to the end turn confirmation. Even so, you could leave the undoing in place give units no vision until undo is no longer available.
General Discussion » UniWar sound effects and music » Go to message
I'd like to congratulate the UniWar team on giving the game such awesome sound effects and music. I just recently discovered the "draw" music, and it still surprises me how good the quality of music is. I've identified at least 4 different music loops, each of which is fairly long and sounds good. Maybe you guys should make an option to play background music during games and/or to play while the device is in sleep mode. More than once I've set the sleep timer to 30 minutes and listened to "victory" music while I do something else.
Sapiens » Fleet Tactics » Go to message
Fighting Titans as a Saps isn't that hard, because even a fair fight (both do damage) comes out favoring the Destroyer. Good Titan tactics can make it harder, but if you're fighting against a good opponent you'd better have some good tactics up your sleeve as well . You can use Helis to assist, because Hydronauts have no close range attack.

By the way, Wyrms are not wymps. They are arguably the best artillery unit, but no artillery unit can stand up against ships. Khraleans are disadvantaged in fleet warfare because they have much weaker ships, but the fact that they can build more ships helps them swarm Destroyers in some situations.
Bug Reports » Game crashes when going offline » Go to message
Sure enough, it works in the new version. You guys must have a time machine to fix the problem before I report it.
Bug Reports » Game crashes when going offline » Go to message
It says it's currently 1.5.11, I assume it hasn't updated since yesterday. I believe this glitch has been in there since the colors updated.
Bug Reports » Game crashes when going offline » Go to message
Here's the situation:
1: I am in the online portion of the game
2: I leave wifi range (No internet)
3: I try to log out to play offline, but the game crashes

This is a minor issue because I can always just start the game up again, but the issue started after a recent update and I figure you'll want to fix it.

I'm using an LG Optimus (Android).
Sapiens » Marauder Rush » Go to message
Basically the answer to your dilemma is Pinzers. Pinzers obviously outclass marauders based on sheer attack and defense, so even with two marauders to every Pinzer you'll pwn them easily. The one downside to Pinzers vs Saps is that they are rather useless vs Helis, but that's another issue.
Bug Reports » HUGE issue: Games I did not join. » Go to message
I only like to keep about 10 games at a time, that way I am free to accept game invites and I don't have to spend quite as much time playing UniWar.

Thanks simsverd, nice to know that it is being worked on. FYI it happened again today, joined 1 game and got added to 3 more.
General Discussion » My opinion on balancing. » Go to message
I think that both Sapiens and Khraleans need better anti-air attacks. As it is, many battles basically degenerate into Helis vs Garudas with only a bit of help from Swarmers and Marines. Giving Tanks and Pinzers anti-air attacks would help, though ideally they would each have a new anti-air unit (See my suggestions in "6 new units"). Basically, most Khral and Sap units are useless vs air, making building air units the only way to kill air units (basically the same as sea warfare, except it's on all maps).

rwieczor84: Yes, I agree that base-stealing should be stopped, but I don't think undo-vision is the best way to do it. Increasing the sight range of bases will stop base-stealing without the need to use undo-vision.

simsverd: This doesn't really make sense unless your goal is to ostracize newcomers to the game, which is certainly not what the most of us want. All it would accomplish is giving players who know about it an advantage over those who don't (like the undo-vision).

gares:
I disagree about the object of this game. The object is to capture bases through the use of strategies, not to steal them by exploiting a peculiarity of the game (bases having 1 vision). Increasing base vision will stop base-stealing without hindering taking them in other ways. With increased base vision players are free to carry out their strategies without having to leave vision units back at the bases.
As I mentioned above, I agree that undo-vision and click-vision (simsverd's idea) both are bad because they put newcomers at a disadvantage. I am a bit of a newcomer myself, and I wouldn't even know about undo-vision if not for the forum.
Bug Reports » Building a unit should not be undoable » Go to message
It sounds like you guys still want the vision from bases but don't necessarily want to build a unit for it. Here's something that does both: Get rid of the undo-vision bug/feature and instead give each base a sight range of 3 or 4. That way the bases will be able to see if any enemies (Mechas/Underlings) are sneaking up but you won't have to build and undo (which makes no sense and wastes time) to get it. This would help players who don't use undo-vision already as well, but I don't think it's fair that some players get an advantage from something that is not a strategy, merely a bug exploit.
Bug Reports » Building a unit should not be undoable » Go to message
I agree with this, but you should at least leave in a "confirm" option (before the unit can see), because sometimes you might accidentally choose the wrong unit. It's really annoying when I accidentally press the wrong thing and can't undo/unconfirm.
