Agree, it's a waste of time. But let me suggest that only titan player should see burried unders. Simply 'cause: (1) it would be more fun in team games (2) it's not always perfectly possible to detect where unders stand (3) let's have this little advantage over players who aren't aware how to detect yet ;P (4) sap vs khral and khral vs khral games have very little of those, so it's not annoying in that cases. (5) titans have overwhelming ultrasound detection technology duh!

I think also this is a bad idea to let only healing units the detection feature, as well as any other, because it would a little break balance and force to choose between building perfect unit or having more fun and less minesweeper stuff nobody likes.

What you guys think?

Jest jeszcze rzecz spotkania/wspólnego wyjścia z naszą kobietą. No, tu już zaczynają się schody, a reguły stają się wewnętrznie sprzeczne. Należy zawsze przyjąć, że mogą być w tym czasie jedzone ciastka, a wtedy pierwszeństwo należy się paragrafom wypisanym już wyżej. Inną kwestią jest zupełna niemożność korzystania z ‘tej głupiej gry’ w obecności naszej wybranki, a już nie daj boże w restauracji, piekarni, kinie czy innym romantycznym miejscu. Pomocne może się okazać udawanie biegunki i cykliczne 2-3 minutowe pobyty w toalecie. Jest to jednako dość żenujące, więc ostateczną regułą księgi ulicy, z ostatniej wyrwanej strony, na ostatnim podkreślonym akapicie jak wół stoi: ‘pomimo zdrowego rozsądku wydaje się, że życie osobiste bywa nieraz ważniejsze, niż aplikacja w telefonie’ (sic!). Koledzy zrozumieją
Co się tyczy tzw. ‘problemów uniwar z dziećmi’ to nie wiem, jeszcze nie posiadam, ale każdy zainteresowany niech koniecznie odwiedzi klub zapracowanych tatusiów na polskim czacie emitowany od poniedziałku do piątku około 9-11 rano

No to więc, ten, wiele osób pyta mnie: "Angkor, jak to jest z graniem w uniwar po khm... jedzeniu ciastek?". No więc księga ulicy ma kilka reguł na ten temat. Przede wszystkim, jeśli jemy no, ciastko, to znaczy jednocześnie, że mamy trochę więcej czasu dla siebie i na grę. No więc idzie nam lepiej niż zazwyczaj (trzeba tylko uważać, żeby nie być zbyt odważnym w decyzjach). Po zjedzeniu dwóch ciastek też, owszem, da się powalczyć. Nie wygramy raczej z Fobosem w turnieju, ale na trzeźwo też byśmy nie wygrali, prawda? Mimo wszystko raczej nie wskazane. Trzy i więcej ciastek powoduje chwilowe zawieszenie praw do gier zespołowych w uni (artykuł 14 konstytucji, zdaje się, ale głowy nie dam. Zadzwonię do JE Andrzeja D. i zapytam, potem się najwyżej zredaguje). Nie chcemy wszak obciążać naszymi szczęśliwymi decyzjami bogu ducha winnych kolegów z drużyny, prawda? Wyjątkiem są tzw. ‘gry przy… drożdżówce’, gdzie jest to powszechnie akceptowane. Poznać je możemy między innymi po tym, że nie mają piktogramu z PUCHAREM przy nazwie. Tamte zostawiamy i czekamy, aż ciastka opuszczą nasz organizm. Z czterema ciastkami podobnie. Po pięciu ciastkach i więcej należy PAMIĘTAĆ, najlepiej odczytywać to sobie jak mantrę parę razy dziennie, żeby później nie zapomnieć, żeby NIE WYKONYWAĆ ŻADNEGO RUCHU NIGDZIE.
Oczywiście panuje jeszcze jedna niepiśmienna zasada, mianowicie lepiej jest wykonać mimo wszystko zły ruch, niż olać i dać się skipnąć (taki wewnętrzny slang, he he). Szczególnie dotyczy to pojedynków z graczami mieszkającymi między Wisłą a Oceanem Spokojnym, czytaj: barbarzyńską Azją.
Co się tyczy innych produktów… gastronomicznych, zasady takie same jak powyżej. Pamiętać, nie wykonywać.
„Ale zaraz zaraz”, już słyszę, „Angkor, a co w wypadku planowanej wizyty w piekarni?”. No więc wtedy musimy przed podróżą sprawdzić stan naszych gier i wykonać wszystkie te, które kończą się wcześniej niż circa~ 10 rano następnego dnia.

Od razu mówie ze nie jestem w tym ekspertem, obviously. Dajcie znać co myślicie!

CHAMPIONSHIP JUNE
1) Farb funken
Stara, klasyczna mapka, dużo osób juz na pewno gralo... ja nie za bardzo.
Dużo środków na wstępie (400), później bardzo mało (200/tura).
Malutka mapa z przeszkodą nie do obejścia na środku.
SAP-vs-SAP: mysle ze klasyczna taktyka marine + chowające się po uderzeniu helikoptery to jedyna droga. Dobrze tez byloby miec 1-max 2 maraudery do dobijania marine przeciwnika.
SAP-vs-KHRAL: sap taktyka jak wyzej w zupelnosci wystarczy, khral raczej nie ma szans na tej mapie. Szczegolnie, ze juz w 2 turze mozna postawic heli. Khrale prawdopodobnie musza grac taktyką otoczony infektor + spam swarmerami, ale mapka jest tak mała że nie zdziwiłbym się, gdyby najlepszą metodą byłoby się obwarować pinzerem i przedłużać jak najlepiej swoją nieuchronną zagładę.
SAP-vs-TIT: może być różnie... ale raczej sap dominuje. będzie walka o środek planszy. Kto wygra środek, powinien wygrać, bo artyleria sap / artyleria titan powinny być tak samo dobre. Battery może bez przeszkód podejść 2 pola do przodu i być w zasięgu walkera. Obowiązkowy engineer dla sap. Oczywiście maraudery w kontrze na speedery i odwrotnie.
KHRAL-vs-KHRAL: bazy są blisko siebie, więc pewnie będzie szybka wymiana ognia i lepiej raczej garuda niż swarmer. Gracz 1 wygrywa (?)
KHRAL-vs-TITAN: mecha i speedery, eclipse raczej sie nie przyda. Moze sie przydac jeden assimilator, choc bedzie ciezko go upilnowac (tak maja te assimilatory, przewalaja całą wypłatę w kasynach i burdelach, ot co!). Khral spam underling, z połowa zakopanych, połowa nie, i swarmer.
TITAN-vs-TITAN: dużo mecha, masowy teleport może się przydać. Speedery owszem, szczególnie, jeśli przeciwnik przewali 4 wypłaty na jednego walkera. Jeśli przewali na plasme, to już raczej bezużyteczne.

I think this proposition deserves special topic, it's great.
I don't agree with the rest of it however, the randomness is a bit too big for strategy game, but that's not the way. Current system is quite unique and fine, we could only cut the 5% best-worst damage in calculation. Or 7,5%.
So extreme situations wouldn't happen.

Hey can we propose here more complex things like 'eclipse should be aerial, but only in receiving damage, not moving around' or 'swarmer should go through mountains with cost of 4'?

Hello everybody, sorry for some bad english.

I think when the Uniwar goes on web-pc and whole lotta new players will come, we should a little bit change current match timing.
To date, we have various New Game time limits and 2 quickest of them are pretty useless. We are from all around the globe and unless you settle with somebody, you just can't play quick match with anybody, because this demands too much effort, setting at a specific daytime and spending large amount of time (3 minutes per turn, even small maps are 10-25x2= circa 50 turns, equals 1,5 hours).
How about a little change?

Quickmatch mode
- different kind of ranking / no ranking at all (possible 'hidden' rank only for matching purposes)
- entrance from inside of a game, 1 simple click, choose between: 5 - 10 - 15 - 30 - 60 time for a WHOLE MATCH (like a clock in chess).
- random enemy appears, closest to your quickmatch rank.
ALSO - this specific mode needs to be undo-free without account change, whatever if the mainstream of a game will follow paid option or adv option

PROS:
- more people chess-oriented will enjoy the game
- Astrologist announces the week of Uniwarriorz. The population increases
- more elegant and inside of the app

CONS:
- our lord and savior Xavi would have a lot of work, i guess
- we should obviously stress out that this would be only one of possibilities to play, not the brand new direction which the whole game should follow.
- possible cheaters, especially with the timing, so i guess any kind of tournaments / serious rank would be impossible

So, what is your opinion?

@angkor: i did not say undo isnt an important feature. But i really find it fair that it is possible in a "lesser ammount" for those that want it free and unlimited as payed.

I don't know, but maybe one of these:
1) 10 sec. advs before undo (non for infinite users)
2) adv banners in chat rooms
3) funny features in the shop. Folks like it funny, they pay. Alternative background graphics, names, music, anything what is shiny and crazy enough.
4) various NON-CHAMPIONSHIP payment tournaments, where uniwar gains 30-40% of which is paid, the rest would be for prizes in a tournament.
5) non-profit charities from the players
6) campaign chapters, possible with some deeper plotline (uni-coins)
7) some PLAY WITH CURRENT CHAMPION stuff (uni-coins), profitable for both of course.
maybe some PLAY FOR UNICOINS for every player, where uniwar gets 10% of unicoins back, the rest is for the winner.

ANYTHING. I repeat, ANYTHING, but it mustn't intervere with fair-play of the main stream of the game. Undo DOES.

I would say that the unfairness you describe is a small one for a free feature... There have to be a balance here and the game needs to be able to sustain itself finacially or the development will stop... wich sadly many ofc the "freeriders" dont care about when they make their arguments about fairness.

Ideas on how to undo in a way that is good for the community and also finacially for the game are most welcome


One with you can't argue about is that THIS NEED A SERIOUS DEBATE, because you can easily ruin a game at the moment, and don't tell me people you don't have your own doubts about it.
I just gave you one idea, some people gave you other resolutions as good or better. And, in my opinion, current state, where you can buy one after one undo, for all reasons of the world like you mistouched on your smart phone, OR buy infinite, is a l'l bit extortion.

It's like a story, goes like this:
The royal family thinks: 'well, these peasants, they don't need this bread. Let's make it horribly expensive'. And the peasants goes 'oh no, we need this for life! Do something!', but the Nobles say 'Nah, they don't need it. WE WILL BUY IT, and we force them thereafter to have it!'.
Economy pals. Hide the taxes, locate them in different places. When you let people decide how much of it they want to buy, they will. When you say 'twelve loafs or get lost', what will happen?
I don't know. Do you?

And, out of curiosity, who are these other top players who says that undo isn't a crucial thing? Let me know, i'll find bunch of maps where even i will beat them. Me, with undo, them, without.

EDIT: Amidama i think they have some different definition of pay-to-win, i wanna hear it.

No i meant 20 secs of actual waiting, when you can't do anything else but to stare at the time loading line. Your option is problematic due to different times of a day when players make their move. Like you have 12 hours for a tournament game, but you wake up 6 in the morning and you have only 4 hours left. No undo then available? Unfair once more.

EDIT: Well well.. so if u keep saying it's not a pay-to-win feature, and partially irrevelant for a great players, so why is it the most expensive one at the moment?? As well, some greatest players like earth and Legia state different than you.

Hello everyone,
So i hope we all agree for now that undo is a HUGE advantage over those who don't use it. Stopping an argument over this point is ridiculous.

I truly understand that the creators wants more money from players for game development and stuff. So you have 2 options:

1) allowing only ONE option: pay like 10 dolars or well, you'll never be as good, be poor and mediocre somewhere else dear player.
results - - whole lotta money from addicted ones, new players come less willingly, some players say bye because we're from all around the world and 10 dolars is not the same price everywhere for everyone.

2) making UNDO profitable, comfortable, but not necessary. U say people that there are some who won't pay even 1 dolar for a game. Yeah, there are as well bunch of people who will pay 20 dolars for only having their own rainbow titans with funny hats pictures. SO let's say undo is free, but takes around 20 seconds to load.
(-2) less seconds for a certain amount of UNI money, until INSTANT.
results - - MOAR money, from everyone, and even if someone doesn't pay, hey, there will be like 2 x more of us relating to option 1 after a year or two.
This is how most profitable apps work, let's not be too original where there's no need for it.

PS. I understand pay-to-win is not the target of the creators. Or am i wrong?
PS2. Funny how i noticed that majority of people who support ONLY paid option are the ones who already paid.

Hello, i had a l'l spared time so i wrote a short story of how I see Uniwar races. Sorry for my english, most definitely not my mother tongue ;-)
PS. The most difficult task was to connect all the races so they could be allies sometimes, in different configuration.
PS. 2. Read a couple of other fan stories on the forum. Huge fan.

1) The Dawn.

At the beginning, there was a Mankind. It wasn’t however a species of angry apes we know these days; this one was a little bit wiser, and richer in experience, than we are. Free of conflict, compassionate, and ready to take the whole UNIverse as its rightful claim, the Kingdom of Reason.
And it was done so.
Colonies of our descendants spring through all planets and star systems and galaxies worth living, absorbing all energies of the world and giving back vast cities, rich cultures, epic stories and beautiful thoughts. They flew all over the space with their metal cocoons, until every piece of rock, every volcanic planet and every uninhabited moon had seen their face.
Then… the greed has once again poisoned human soul. From the core of our human mind sounded the old song, repeatedly: ‘This is not enough’. The conflict was inevitable.
Due to lack of enemies, as always, Man turned against a Man.

2) The Darkness.

Weaker, younger brother of the conflicts, the United Fleet, was losing. Then, one of their commanders, whose name luckily will be forever forgotten, came to a mad idea. It was obvious that nor nukes, lasers, AI, hyperspeed technology won’t save them. It had to be something their enemies didn’t have, or didn’t want to use. Maybe they just feared it? Who knows.
And so they started to using biological weapon, named K-HR41. A multi-potential gun, which threw into space shells full of little nasty eggs. Once the creatures in the eggs were feeling warm and comfortable, they came out and evolve, multiply and kill every form of life on the planet.

The results was spectacular, and the war – nearly won.
K-HR41 was made by scientists, who manipulated on a genes of species found on several different planets. The men of reason gave new race speed, ruthlessness, the collective consciousness and intelligence, and they gave them one thing they didn’t intend to pass by. The very same hunger which tainted their own hearts before.
After all men on the planet was dead, they always fought with themselves, unti there was nothing more to eat. Sometimes they appeared on the systems they shouldn’t be. Hiding in the spaceships, most often. Evolving faster and faster. Soon the whole UNIverse was endangered.

3) The Neon Lights.

Trying to avoid the plague of a great swarm, the wisest of men created a machine that could interfere with the thinking of underlings, so that the great ants be ‘unplugged’ of a collective consciousness, independent and willing to help sapiens.
Assimilator.
Before that, sapiens never had any problems with the AI. After that, well… Add super-inteligent electric brain, mix it with hunger and whole lotta insectoid hormones, psychedelic substances floating in their half-machine bodies… Cyber underlings were unhappy, and decided to meet their own fate.
As they considered themselves superior to sapiens, they started to use the name ‘titans’. Because electric insects are always deep into greek mythology, of course.
Soon they started to improve its poor bodies, sometimes de novo of pure metal, sometimes mixed with great insectoid genome, sometimes even human genome. They made a diversed army and brutally invaded devastated worlds. Not only with force, but with wit and diplomacy as well.

All of this was thousands of years ago, but the fighting never stopped. Three perfectly balanced enemies, in an endless circle of violence and corruption. Sure, all of them had bad moments, sometimes critical, sometimes made fragile alliances, sometimes, close to ultimate victory, they turned against themselves. And no matter how many cyborgs was reprogrammed, how many people mutated and how many insects plugged in, the war of the universe is permanent. There is no ‘after’.
