If I infect a unit that is capping a base, and it has only one hit point, will it kill it before it completes capping, or does the capping take precedent over the infection?

Would not the obvious solution be to change who is on what team? Beings it seems the map is okay to be rated for FFA, just switch the teams to where it is more balanced. Is this a valid option? Because 90% of the time this map is played on FFA anyway.
