2-4 range sounds good, but why give it a move after attack?

So it can have a "full" range of 5, so if the battery can only move 1 tile and attack, then it has a "full" range of 5, like the other artillery units.

To increase the rush range (range that can be hit with move and subsequent attack) you need attack after move, not move after attack. Attack after move always uses the default move amount (2 normal tiles in this case), changing the rush range into 6. Reducing the mobility to 5 (thereby reducing movement to 1 normal tile) isn't a good possibility because that leaves the Battery unable to cross forest or swamp.

Adding move after attack to the Battery would kinda fit with the feel of the Sapiens where you really want to plan things out meticulously because you have so much movement you can manage. It wouldnt really affect the range like stated above but in a way it would in a longterm sense. You'd want to have your next turn planned out or at least the general idea of what you want to accomplish next turn.

Just increase battery range from 3-4 to 2-4 like hydronaught is enough for me.
But, pleaseee change it now
I don't understand what reason the developer left battery the only artillery with poorest 2 hexes band of attack?

I think this is a great idea, but I would scrap the two-tile range.

I think the artilleries in the game are fine and balanced just as they are. There is no need for change.
If you want something new, ask about new units in an expansion.

The walkers have to move or they'll take up the bases making batteries better on small levels, plus they cost less, when you have about ten or so it won't matter as much

I'm from the future! The battery gets a 2-4 range and moves after attack 2 tiles per turn!
