Replace surrendering players with bots

In team and FFA games, when one player surrenders it ruins the game for everyone else by (a) permanently throwing the game off balance and (b, in the case of team games) covering bases with units that allies can't kill.

One simple solution to this is to replace the surrendering player with a bot. This could either be a standard feature for all games, or a toggle at the game creation screen, or something more advanced where P1 (FFA) or ally #1 (team games) has the option of filling the "empty" player slot with a bot.

Please. This would be a large quality of life improvement for the game. And, to me, it seems like a simple change to implement.


Maybe it would be disabled for games with players less than 1500, but I think most players with a few games played can beat bots, so it wouldn't be an unfair advantage ever.

i only see that as useful for players getting kicked. whenever they would be skipped, maybe they should get a bot turn, or totally taken over by a bot once they are kicked.

if your teammate quits earlier than you wanted you should just abandon that team... they quit so they accepted the loss on behalf of the team. if you went on to win with a bot, how would it be fair that a quitter's team score goes up? he surrendered!
