it would be very nice to have 'diplomacy' games
Those would be non team based multiplayer with possibility to chat 1-1 with any of the other players
It would allow to run diplomatic conversation, tie alliances and betray them etc...
This would allow to have a diplomatic version of multi - DIPLOMACY REBORN ....!!!!
That would be really really cool

I agree. It would add to the strategy of this game ten fold. Fun idea. Could simply add a switch next to fog of war and rated box.

I can definitely see it working, BUT large problem, the maps aren't anywhere close to big enough to support that, and the max number of people in a game is 8. For alliances to work you'd need maps 4 times the size of Full Planet that allow 12 or more people to play on them simultaneously.
