11 races fits a cycle, remember that 2 race (pyrean and convergence) doesn't need to fit into the convert cycle. I'm not sure about the 12th one though.

If I'm being honest, it's probably good to set a limit at 11, so that xavi reads all of the races. If we let race creation come too high, I can see xavi just passing over completely awesome races.

As for races we've got

Convergence
Phasers
Pyreans
Machine
Clockwork
Alantics
The plant race (I don't remember the name)
Exo
Fobos
Titans
Khraleans
Sapiens

That's 12. One of them has to be opted out. For now, it's the plant race, because they are the newest.

And yes, they all do fit(not counting the plant race). Stop acting so pessimistic. You need to remember that as long as the number of races is an odd number, the race cycle will always work.

Let's say I have 101 races.
Take the race in question out.
We have 100 races
50 of them convert this race
50 of them are converted by this race.
It's that simple. It will always work as long as it's an odd number.

Personally, I liked the plants more than the Atlantic

There are plenty of turn based strategy games without conversions.

There's no reasons any of the new races have to be involved in conversions at all.

I look at it simply as a balancing mechanism.

If a new race is having problems with a specific race or races, then give them the conversion advantage.

Otherwise, they can not convert at all.

Maybe other races are having problems with them.... Then they can be converted.

That's my thoughts anyway

Adding three new UNITS is taking months. I feel like the creation and implementation of a single race will take years :p but who knows lol

to my race pool, Pyreans and Atlantics can simply work without Hiilangi. Hiilangi can just be an extra.

sure, but admins will not add more than 2 races, thats what i remember reading about this. try to find it or ask moderators or someone else. admins arent going to add 101 race..


The purpose isn't to get them to add all of the races, it's to get them to read all of the races. I know I wouldn't want to read more than 11 races.

Well, I think conversion is a very unique thing to this game, I would like to see as much of it as possible
