And earlier, the tank was explained to be a biological tank, but I deleted the description because it was boring
Everything the convergence makes is made from biomaterial. That's why it all heals so well and can "overheal"

I have my own race idea *ahem,Pyreans* and they're pretty much a race of fire and magma. I assume that bullets won't pen fire and the only thing they may kill them is in their core (heart), the head may probably be regened by the core

I gave the unity ability a little bit of a story
As for your explanation, this race evolved contor over their organs, snd eventjally their biologists found out how to control their own cells after extensive studies in biology. With controlled cells, they can make anything our robots can, but more efficiently. Sort of like how spider silk is greater than steel, oftentimes biologically built machines created by the convergence can repair faster than machines
Not to mention that the back story on page 4 explains that all of the convergence are actually just one entity made out of the combined minds of the old spieces

The point is that spiderweb is cheap and easy to make, and manages to be stronger than our cheap and easy to make substance
Anyways, in the biology feild, any one of our man made things is easily overcame by natural things. Most of our best medicine simply mimics biological substance

Anyways, as for how unity works
. The convergence has control over themselves down to a cellular level. This is why it is able to heal so quickly.
Unity expands that control from the convergence to all units, giving the convergence control over multiple units bodies
The convergence, with new control over multiple organic material, uses it to even out health.

True to a point. You need lots of food and energy to keep the slider alive. Spider silk itself uses far less energy. Not to mention, it gets made from the energy of tiny insects, whcih could barely power the heat needed to make the glass

modern main battle tanks only require 1000-1500 horsepower, powering a tank at 3000 hp becomes absurdly fast
